Parodies

I know it's probably a cheap gimmick to base episodes off other things, but we could pull off a couple of parody episodes. Here's a few ideas:

I've been thinking about doing a parody of the movie 300, with the 4th graders being the Spartans and the 5th graders being the Persians. What set up we could put this in still has to be thought out.

And also for some strange reason, I've been thinking of doing some kind of parody of the TV show Captain Planet. With Arnold, Helga, Gerald and some others being Planeteers. Just something to make fun of the show.

Again, just a few random ideas. I'm open to suggestions.

I don't think it's a cheap gimmick...and if it is, the writers of HA! did it all the time lol

I like parodying different things.

I was thinking of a Sherlock Holmes parody too (not the recent movie, just a parody of the characters in general)

I think maybe they could do like a parody of the one and only classic - Scooby Doo. The gang could play the main characters and the other characters could be the villain(s).

Velma = Phoebe

Daphne = Rhonda

Fred = Arnold

Shaggy = Sid (or Helga) (I haven't really decided)

Scooby = Abner

Villain(s) = Vic and/or Morrie

If we can come up with any more, some of these episodes would basically write themselves.
