Posters?

Post by Helga4ever on Mon Nov 09, 2009 2:34 pm

My country is really lazy, they sit on the computer and television all day!
Maybe I could put some posters here and there so than they have a reason to be on the computer.
My friends are intrested, our favirate subjuct is english. I may need to go to risk getting cooties in the boys side to hang up the posters, but arnold has done so much for me why not return the favor?

Quick question: are you thinking of using printed posters and/or fliers or were you thinking of advertising the project online?

It sounds okay to me. Maybe you could post what you plan on saying in the poster to this thread before you start working on them.

I was thinking printed fliers so my school knows. We have lots of creative minds out there and if you want I could E-mail the poster to you.

Posting printed fliers is really up to your school. You would need to get permission from the school.

Could you post the flier to the forum rather than emailing me please? If you have it saved as a jpeg (or some other kind of image format) you can click the "Host an image" button. If you just have text you can post the text directly to this thread.

OK I wrote in big letters HA6S and under it wrote the website and under that I wrote go sign up if you want to help us then in the decription it says:

Hey Arnold 6 season or for short ha6s is a website where we make (Hey Arnold!) episodes in comic form anybody with a creative mind may go in, we do not allow (monkey business) or spammers we like to take our work seriously and professionally the lowest age is 12 years old if you are younger than that you may not go in so grade 7 and above can sign up.

If you have any adjust ments you'd like to make just tell me and I made it in microsoft publisher so it looks much betterwhen I print it.
And I don't think the prinsipal will mind but just to make sure I'll ask her before I hang them up.

The wording doesn't sound quite right. My suggestion would be to keep any advertisements as short and to the point as possible.

You could probably take that part out.

You could probably also take this out, and replace it with something like: "You must be at least 12 years old to sign up. Ask your parents for permission."

Yup, posting up posters is fine, but like Funnybones said, you really need to get your school's permission before doing so.

A very simple ad should do it. You pretty much only need to describe what the project is about for our purposes. Something very simple like "the Hey Arnold 6th Season (HA6S) project is a collaborative effort among HA fans to produce six season episodes in comic form". Or something catchier if you can think up of something lol

No need to go in deep about the criteria for joining, because your ad should be kept short and simple. So something like "Visit http://ha6s.wordpress.com for details" or "Minimum age: 12 yoa (years of age) with parental permission"

Also, make sure that you're linking the wordpress site, not the forumotion site.

Thanks for volunteering to advertise the HA6S project!
