I've tried it and its a pretty good way to stretch watercolor paper, especially if you're using one of your lighter watercolor papers. But one thing that they left out in the video is that once you've finished stretching your paper, be sure to tape down or staple the edges so that the paper doesn't buckle again when it completely dries.

I really like those pictures! Helga's face is difficult to get to look right. I love coloring with pencils too

I don't even know what "watercolor pencils" are, but the style and effect are very interesting.

Well, they seem to be like ordinary color pencils but they consist of dry watorcolor. Due to that they have an ability to be dissolved by the water.
