Summer Action Plan! (How's Everybody's Summer Schedule Looking Like?)

Hello everybody!

It's been a while since an announcement has been made (my bad), but I do want to get us up and running again. So I was wondering what everyone's summer schedule was looking like, so that we could coordinate something around here.

Here's my real-life situation right now:

So as most of you can guess, I am in school (university). Currently I nearing in on my final exams. They end on April 24, so until then, I'll be busy for the most part, but still lurking around the forums in case something important shows up.

My schedule will be completely free from Apr 24 to May 5. I plan to get us started back up on our feet again during that time (which is when I'll post a new announcment on the board). I have clinical practice (where I get to work at the hospital! Yay!) from from May 5 - May 14. Although my weekdays will most likely be busy during that time, my weekends should be completely free.

I am taking spring (May 17 - June 25) and summer (July 5 - August 17) courses, but for the most part, they are of only a moderate workload. So I should be able to work with you guys at a fairly good pace during that time.

So once I am done my winter term (Apr 24), I plan to have a complete and comprehensive summary of everything we've did so far (including want ads) by May 1. Things I hope to get done:
- Get some progress done on the urban legend pilot episode (i.e. get some pages done)
- Check up on how we're doing with Helga's Bow and Potty Mouth episode project
- Post up want ads for artists. We are in dire need of them. I was thinking of making picture ads (i.e. a picture that says something like "Wanted: Artists" and a summary of each potential episode project that needs an artist(s) and post them up on DeviantArt or something)
- Help out with some of the other proposed episode projects.

So if anyone can help out with these before then, that'd be great! If not, that's okay, we'll get running again in the summer.

So I was wondering if all our available members could post up a quick summary of what their summer looks like, and see if we'll be able to get some good work done over the summer! We've already done some AWESOME work already since we've first started, so let's keep at it!

My last quarter ends June 10th and I am going to try to get a job this summer. But other than that I’m not taking any summer courses so my schedule is pretty open. I’ll be free to write and edit for anyone who needs me.

Hello~

So, for the Potty Mouth I'm almost sure that I could pencilled at least the first two pages for the beginning of May.

Then I might be pretty busy from May until the end of June because of hight school final exams.

The summer vacation officially begins in July, though I have the college things to deal with and the french college apps system totally suck so I'm not sure if it would be totally done before July 15th, but I will have time to take a breath and start penciling some few other pages.

I might have a summer job, but I'm sure I'll have spare time beside... and then, August is pretty blur because depending on the college apps results, I may, or not, have to move out to a place of my own.

Anyway, I'll manage by a way or another, to finish at least half of the potty mouth episode penciled work done before September because after I really don't know how crushing college will be, if I'll still have time for myself, etc. =__='

I don't get done with my spring term until June 11.

I'm probably going to be doing a lot of traveling a little later this term and into the summer, mostly back and forth between Washington and California. It's not that big of a deal, though, because I have a laptop. So, keeping in touch shouldn't be a problem. I'll also be moving sometime this summer, so I'll be busy, but I'll definitely be available to keep working on the project. I'm still iffy about the exact dates for my schedule this summer, but I can update.

I'm co-editing two of the newer scripts (that are still in progress) and also helping Dpshrineinclosetgirl out with writing the Hypnotism script, to some extent.
If there's anything I can help out with respect to advertising, please let me know. We can also use my youtube channel (my Trivial Facts channel) if you'd like me to set up any video advertisements. I have quite a few more subscribers than the HA6S channel, so it will probably get more exposure.

I'm not in school, but I have a full time job and spare time is spent on my son, what little spare time I may get away from him is going towards *trying* to arrange a date...I can still work on my script and I could probably have it done by June at the latest, but the only other thing I can do is edit. I'm pretty overloaded as things are, sorry.

The only time I get off this summer, I'll be spending it in Maine with family, and then New York with my fiance's family.

D: This girl has no free time, unless I quit my job... >.> <.< then I will have loads of free time.

in the summer i will have loads of free time and i also have lot now but i just read the forums nothin more.

My university exams finish at the middle of June completely. So I don't have any school exams and can devote most of my free time to the project in the summer time.
If anything changes I'll say.

I am not very helpful to the site and I apologize but outside of work and babysitting, my time is pretty open. If I can do something productive for the site, I'll let you know. But I'm here if someone needs help brain-storming.

Well, my summer will be spent at Hardvard University. I was asked to join an honor's freshman program that lasts about a month and a half from the middle of June to the first week of August. I'm also using my spare time thinking of moderately good ideas to introduce for a comic. I also asked one of my besties for help with drawing and penciling and whatever else is needed. She's more of a manga person, but she could do the other artistic things that don't involve drawing anything. She said she'll make an account here sometime this week. She's also asking her friend (who's also a good artist, might-I-add) to join. I still have to ask the other two artists in my class, but the one I've spoken to is the best! Hope this helps!!!!!

Funnybones: That works fine with me. Let me know if anything else changes. For advertising, I'm not too sure if we'll manage to squeeze another YT video in, but we'll probably be able to sqeeze in a few more written and drawn announcements/advertisements for the project (e.g. on DA, LJ, etc.)

Manga style is fine with this project, but it's always a nice challenge to draw something in a different style. A million thanks!

I've been waiting on resolving my housing situation for the summer before posting anything, but as the rental agency I've been working still hasn't really given me an answer (two weeks after they told me it would take a day), I suppose I'll just go off what I know. I'm either going to be somewhat busy, (probably taking classes over summer), or not busy at all (lazing around with nothing to do); regardless I should have more time to work on various projects than I have had so far.

I'll have to let you know when this semester is over (May 5). University: it's a time sucker.

Hey all. I realize I've been kind of scarce around here as well. After May 14 I should have A LOT more free time, because that is when my semester at college is over. (Unless I end up having to take a summer course D:)
Hopefully between May 14 and August 14ish I'll be much more active around here when I'm not at work. (But I don't work much anyway.)

I feel awkward posting when I'm not even a staff member yet, but just so you know, I'll be mostly free this summer, with no job and no real long-term plans for the summer. My family will be taking a trip for about a week, but that's it, essentially. So I can be around here as much as I please, hopefully!

I know this is completely late, but summer for me end in a week so . . .

The only time I can be on now is sometimes on wensday (although I can't make promises)

Hmm.. i'm new to this entire project... (joined approx. a month before summer ends... ^^' )

But my schedule for the remainder of summer is actually pretty free. Even though i'm in france i still have access to the internet + pen/pencil/notepad/wacom tablet.

I return to the USA on the 24th of august and school begins around the 8th of September.. (not 100% sure if that's the actual day).

Unfortunately, i'm starting *dramatic + depressing music* DUM, DUM, DUUUM

so i don't know how readily available i'll be during the school year. But hey i managed to find time to explore the wonders of photoshop and wacom last year so maybe i'll survive this time around.
