Character's outfits Empty Character's outfits

Hey guys!

Since they all are now in the 5th grade... I was wondering if we should progressively modify their outfits? I mean, maybe adding/replacing some few things and then finally change it. Because, when you watch the cartoons, they don't have the same outfits when they are babies/pre-schooler/4th grade/elders ( I can't remember the exact titles of each ep, but I'll look for it if there's the need).
Of course, it has to be similar clothes (Gerald might not suddenly wear pink sweat-shirt, Lila won't have any spikes necklace... ).

So maybe start to modify it a little when we will be working on the Ep 10/15... Dunno. Just an idea =' What do you think about it?

Hmm.. I dont really think so 'cause on the finished pages of Urban Legend all the kids have the same outfits unless we do modify it by the tenth or fifteenth but I don't know you should ask Tendra.

By the way its The Journal/Helga on the couch/(because they are or were fourth graders the whole series the ill just say the Hey Arnold series) The Hey Arnold! Series/ Married

Should Helga wear pants? I dunno I just imagine her wearing kahkis (did I spell that right)

Ouch Okay >__> Shame on me. I should know since I only finished to re-watch all the seasons...

That's what I meant, keeping the same outfits until the tenth/fifteenth episode, if we modify their clothes, it has to be progressive otherwise it would be... shocking haha~

Helga in pants... Dunno. Helga is such a weird character, I mean, she's kind of a tomboy but she has a pink dress... I think she will start wearing pants/jeans only when she'll be 14/15.
Hmmm... what about some pink long sweatshirt (so it would look like a dress) with c*nverse (I don't know what you english/us people call that kind of shoe)? =P

Oh yeah, I know I mean... the name... not the brandname, other brand do that kind of shoes too... - I just added the "*" not to quote the real name lol.

And yup I'm a frenchie, that's why I'm not always really clear in the way I talk xD

Oh okay! So no putting the brandname.

Hmm... If they do change I always imagined Stinky wearing finger glove,Gerald wearing a sweater and Arnold too,Helga wearing pants (or just maybe a "sweatshirt dress"(I have no idea if its made up or not),Lila wearing some sort of long sleve shirt replacing her "poofs" on her dress (put still keeping the dress) and pheobe a sweater.

Techcacly make Hillwood colder. XD

Changing outfits is fine. We've given the option to artists on whether or not they wanted to stick with their traditional outfits or if they wanted to create new ones for them. For example, Bloochikin has decided to stick with their traditional outfits for the pilot, while Squirreltamer plans on experimenting with their costumes. So it really doesn't matter. What is important is that the outfits should make sense and be true to the characters. Clothing can reflect the person's personality, after all. So yes, Lila with spiked necklaces is a no-no (unless that's the intent of the story plot...). Their costumes may change, but keep in mind that their personalities have not.

I understand where you're coming from, but going from pre-schoolers to forth grade is a pretty massive jump. So a complete clothes change is understandable.

However, going from 4th to 5th grade is only a years difference and wouldn't really require to much of a change.

Plus, IMO, I wouldn't have changed their looks anyway unless they were going to high school, college, etc.
