I guess I'm suppose to do the cover art and I have this idea of the snapshot kid facing the reader and having his hands in that camera position: right index finger perpendicular to left thumb, left index finger perpendicular to right thumb, ya know?

Most positions on this episode project are taken, but there are plenty of vacant spots for Episode project 2 (Helga's Bow). They need the following:

2 Colorist (block coloring, shading, highlights, ect.)

How should we do this? I could translate it all when all is done, but I could also already start with the finished comic pages.

I wouldn't translate the skript right now, because it also has something to do with the space in the word balloons. In germany, we almost always need more words to describe the same thing.

Btw. I still have to look if Helga said somthing like "Doi" or "Criminy" in the german version, I don't remember her having such specific words.. Sometimes translation sucks. It was quite a successful show here, anyway.

You can start with the finished pages if you like.

There are several approaches you can take when it comes to replacing the dialogue in a comic. One way is to erase all the dialogue in the word bubble and then replace it. It's the easiest and simplist way, but the real challenge comes with replacing sound effects (i.e. dialogue outside of the word bubbles). I'll be honest when I say I have no idea on how you might want to approach the problem. Another way is to get the original artist to send you a copy of the comic with no dialogue, so that you can just type in all the original dialogue yourself. This takes some extra work on part of the original artist, so you might want to try that as well, but I'm not too sure if Annemiek (our colourist and inker for this comic) is busy with other things as well.

If you find that the word bubble is too small, you may find yourself using a smaller font size or even redrawing the borders of the word bubbles. The other solution, of course, is to find a more concise way to rephrase the dialogue (but I do realize that that does take some extra work).

That's alright if you can't translate the script right now. Take the time you need.
