Arnold's Couch Confessions Comic?

Now I hesitate to bring this up but, you think it would be a good idea to make a comic on "Arnold's Couch Confessions"? It's the fanfic of the week made by DarthRoden (a.k.a. Carl)

It's kinda like Helga On The Couch but only Arnold is gonna be in the couch with Dr. Bliss.
Afterwards in the story, Arnold FINALLY figures out on his own that Helga loves him after talking to Dr. Bliss about all the things Helga has done for him, or has done to him.
But Arnold isn't sure if he loves her back. Instead of Arnold telling Helga that he knows she loves him, he starts showing Helga that he cares for her (which Arnold tells Dr. Bliss that he really DOES care for Helga awhile ago in the story). Afterwards, Helga starts being nice to Arnold. (Too nice in my opinion )

It's a really good story actually! You guys should read it!

So what do you think?

I don't remember this story very well, but if I'm not mistaken, it's a "conversation story", not an action story, and I don't think it would not good in comics form. Most panels would look the same, only the text would be different.

I personally love that fanfic. It's one of my favorite stories on there and I've read it a number of times, lol. But, regarding your idea, that fic has been brought up in another thread on here (I'm not sure which one at the moment...) and it seemed to me that the majority agreed that if Arnold talked to Dr. Bliss he would more likely talk about his parents over his relationship with Helga. As much as I love "Arnold's Couch Confessions" I'm not sure if it's really canon enough to make into a comic.

Try to propose what kind of flashbacks could be used here.

Well he did talk about episodes from HA!

Like the times that Helga made Arnold feel better when he's having his downs. We
can make flashbacks about that while Arnold talks about it.

Everything he talked about with Dr. Bliss about the recent things that Helga has done to Arnold can be a flashback part of the comic.

I really like the idea on Arnold's POV on Helga when they were young. It was also mentioned, however, Dr Bliss is sorta Helga's and Helga would be afraid to pour out all her feelings if she knew Arnold was seeing Dr Bliss too. Maybe Arnold should tell someone else if you wanna make it a 'Arnold's perspective on Helga' after Helga totally pissed him off (kinda like Girl Trouble).

Well no ones gonna know that Arnold's going to the psychiatrist except for his grandparents and Gerald.

Or we can always just start the episode with Dr. Bliss having an appointment with Arnold.

Yesterday I was thinking about posting a thread about an old episode from someone else's point of view.. Like how Arnold experienced the love-potion episode.. I got the idea from a Fairly Odd Parents episode (Timmy wishes that he's cool and he wishes for cool clothes and a white smile.. and later on they made an episode in which everything is seen through the eyes of AJ and Chester.. and they try to figure out why Timmy was acting different)
I think it would be awesome to show flashbacks from Arnold's POV in an episode like this!

Of course he would talk about his parents, but Dr. Bliss would probably ask about school as well.

It would be funny if Helga found out that Arnold goes to see Dr. Bliss. She'd be scared that Dr. Bliss blows her secret, and she would try to overhear what they're talking about, but all attempts to get to the room would fail. She'd try to listen behind the door, but someone would send her away, she'd try to hear it through the vent, she'd try to climb the wall outside, to hear them talking from outside, but she keeps failing. And in the end, she'll finally find a way, and she hears Arnold tell that he does care for her (but he won't say anything about loving her) and then he says goodbye to Dr. Bliss, and Helga would be very happy. That would be such a sweet ending <3

Yeah, Helga trying to overhear Arnold-Bliss conversation could make a good story. Plus it can give her more information. I would like her to know more about his parents and the journal (well, I guess The Journal takes place after the Season 6, right?).

As for new POV for an old episode, I had one absolutely insane idea about Hilda and Phoebe secretely messing with the situation between the main characters of Weird Cousin episode.

Ooo, really great idea Annemiek ^^ that would be so sweet<3 I would really love to hear how Arnold feels about his parents leaving him before he even turned 2. It made me feel uneasy that Arnold seems to be so okay that his parents left him at such a young age (even if it was for the better good). But scratch that idea if you feel it's better for The Jungle Movie. Oh and if we're gonna make Arnold talk about both his parents and Helga, how do we link them together?

Season 6 takes place between April Fools and The Journal I think. Cos Arnold turns 10 in TJM (which is presumably 7 Oct and The Journal takes place on 5 Oct. Unless the whole thing happens on 6 Oct cos this episode (I guess) is where Arnold strts realizing he has feelings for Helga

Timing within HA! universe does not make any sense, don't try to assign its events to specific dates.

True. You know we should totally put in what Arnold actually hears when Helga does all her...rants (you know when she's in her I-love-Arnold mood. Sorry, can't find the right word).

I truly love that fanfic!! <333 That would make a great episode for Season 6 of HA. This episode doesn't/wouldn't ruin anything for The Journal or Jungle Movie. I especially love when Arnold's patient with Helga and spends his money on her for lunch. My fav part of this fanfic.

Can this fanfic be a possible episode for our Season 6 project?? And yeah, I think a comic version of Arnold's Couch Confessions would be great!!

Hehe yeah the first thing that popped in my head when i finished reading the fanfic was to propose to make it into a comic xD
