Video Advertisement

Hehe cuz i was thinking if we want to make like a video advertisement then we should make something like that

We should definitely do something like that. Is anyone here good at songwriting?

That would be fun advertising, indeed. But: Can anyone here write music? Play music? Sing (well)? ... Coming up with a few rhymes wouldn't be that difficult by itself.

I have a friend who writes a lot of her own music...and she plays everything from the piccolo trumpet to the bass guitar. I don't live very close to her anymore, though, so that probably wouldn't work.
I used to sing a lot, but it's been a while and all the microphones I have are pretty crappy. We would really have to find a pretty good mic.

Another thing we could do is write lyrics to one of Jim Lang's lyric-less HA! pieces. Like someone could write lyrics for the Hey Arnold! Theme or Stompin'.

We really need to get an advertisement up cuz no offense, but this website is kinda.. dieing. And losing alot of people.. :/

I would love to put together a video advertisement for HA6S, the thing is that I think we should do one where the video is completely made up of fan-art. Kind of like what I did with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kri-iRo6b0g

So, I think we have two different target audiences with advertisements:

1) Potential new staff members
2) People interested in the final comics

The first one is pretty self explanatory and is probably the one that will direct the most traffic directly to this site. The second one would be more like trailers and sneak peaks of the comics.

I definitely think that we should do a little bit more toward the second audience, because we haven't really done anything with that group yet.

The other reason is that I get lots of PMs/comments on my own Youtube channel by people who don't really take this project seriously because they don't realize how good our artists really are. They don't think the art will be that great, when in fact, what is done so far is damn good...unbelievably good.
So, I think it would be a good idea to prove to people how good the project is by showing them a little bit of what we have done. Hopefully a video that will get people excited about the project.

We can certainly do some more advertising toward the first audience type too, though.

btw, If you haven't seen the HA6S Youtube channel recently: we now have 52 subscribers and 19 friends!
