New HA! Facebook Group
In case you're interested, there's a new Hey Arnold! group on Facebook called "Hey Arnold! Save the Jungle Movie!! 10,000 People!!"
They're trying to unite the fans together in a Facebook group to show Nick how many people are still interested in the show; and they asked HA6S to do a little advertising for them. It's an open group, so anyone with a Facebook account can join.
If you're interested in joining, here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=173405088633&ref=share

That's not a bad idea.
I wonder if they can find 10,000 people..
I joined.

Honestly, joining facebook groups doesn't actually... do anything. I mean, it's always cool to find a bunch of people to show support, but Facebook groups don't really go anywhere.

They also took Gena's pics and haven't really given her props, which is not cool in my books.

Yeah, they should have asked Gena first or add a link to her da account or something.. I think they meant well to use a few great drawings to promote the jungle movie..
And you're right, a facebook group won't make any difference.. but 10,000 fans might If they really reach that amount of people, and they let Nick know that there are still thousands of people who want an ending to the show.. maybe get people to send letters one more time.. who knows, maybe Nick will publish the Jungle Movie-book or something (or the real movie, that would be too good to be true)

It is a long shot, but they know it. They said they know it's a long shot when they asked HA6S to do an advertisement for it. They have a noble cause, so I didn't see any harm in starting a thread about it though.
I didn't realize that they didn't get Gena's permission. Otherwise I probably would have asked them to send her an email or something before I started this thread about it. In fact, I'll say something about it on their wall (or maybe PM). I'm sure they meant well, they probably just didn't think of it.Squirreltamer wrote:They also took Gena's pics and haven't really given her props, which is not cool in my books.

I mean, I love that Hey Arnold! is being promoted still. I just... there's a shit ton of super similar facebook groups for all sorts of other topics (ranging from ending genocide to adding a 'dislike' button). And the basic truth is that, as far as I can tell, nothing comes from those groups.
IDK. I just... I don't see facebook as a viable way of promoting a cause. Just because you join the 'end genocide' community doesn't mean you're actually going to make any actual attempt to do that, y'know?

Not that you guys shouldn't join it or anything. I just, personally, see Facebook groups like that as being ultimately pointless and cluttering.

They are pointless and cluttering, but they are kind of fun sometimes too lol.
Oh, and I wonder why they don't have a dislike button.
