Yeah--the good thing about Robert is that he never does anything special, so we can do a lot with his character

Umm what could Helga say that makes Rhonda take it up as a challenge?

I thought if Rhonda is squeamish about some guys with whom she usually doesn't deal.
She could show her emotions while sitting in the dining and some guy whom she doesn't respect wants to sit with her 'cause that's no sit vacant. She shouts at him to go away. Helga's sitting next table asks her why she doens't allow him to sit with her and that's an argument between them.
All ends up Rhonda's in confusion 'cause everybody give her a mocking or blaming look and she starts to prove she's so popular and sociable to herself and everybody. Even she thinks she could get a profit sending tape to a popular show how she makes Robert fashionable and cool (she wouldn't just have a time only talking with him, she's not such kind of character).

Retromanka, so are you saying something along the lines of...

Rhonda not allowing Robert to sit next to him in the cafeteria because he's uncool,

Then Rhonda makes Robert her 'pet project' in an effort to prove that she can get along with anybody (and even make anyone cool)?

Yes...but I thought that it'd be a random kid...for not losing the moment of Ronda's looking for a "project" and catching Robert with words "Perfect!"

okay so then she uses him and then we go to the fact that he's fashionable or is that making the epi too comlicated?

Barebones Alternate Outline

1. Rhonda laments that they're aren't enough cool kids in her class.

2. Nadine jokingly makes a comment along the lines of "if only everyone could be cool like you", and Rhonda takes it up as a challenge.

3. At random, she selects Robert from the crowd. Rhonda approaches Robert and explains how fortunate he is because she's willing to use her "expertise" to transform him into a cool kid. After much goading, Robert accepts.

4. There will be a long scene with Rhonda "training" Robert how to be cool, changing his wardrobe, the way he talks, etc.

5. Eventually there's a "Eureka!" moment and Rhonda succeeds. She debuts Robert at school the next day and he is a hit with the rest of his classmates.

6. Unfortunately, Rhonda realizes that she has done TOO good a job with Robert, and becomes insecure that he has become even more popular than her.

7. Rhonda attempts to reclaim her status as "most popular", but to no avail. Eventually she concedes defeat.

8. By the end of the week, however, Robert visits Rhonda as his normal self and explains that while it was fun to be a cool kid for a short time, he confides that it's too much work and that he's much more comfortable being in the background. He also comments on how he thinks Rhonda is the coolest person he knows, which gives Rhonda a bit of an ego boost.

9. After Robert leaves, Rhonda gloats to Nadine that her "social experiment" was a total success and that she now wants to try it with another "background character", such as Park or Sheena. Nadine facepalms, disappointed that Rhonda has learned nothing from tampering with the status quo.

1. Rhonda shouts at a queer guy who ask her to sit 'cause that's no vacant sit.
2. Helga claims she's not able to talk with such guys so she's not so popular.
3. Rhonda takes it as a challange and wants to proove she can deal with everybody.
4. Meanwhile there's a contest on the show she adores.
5. To catch two goals she makes an acquaintance with Robert and eager to make him a cool guy.
6. Rhonda asks Nadine to shoot them on a tape.
7. Nadine leaves camera in the bus.
8. Meanwhile Rhonda and Robert go shopping. Rhonda doesn't know Nadine's lost camera.
9. Robert impresses Rhonda by having a hight taste in clothes.
10. Rhonda and Robert have fun together.
11. Rhonda apologizes to him for being mean.
12. Robert accepts it.
13. Nadine eventually finds out the camera and takes it from the bus.
13. Rhonda is displeased for not having a film on the tape nonetheless seeing on the screen bus driver, Gertie-tarzan and especially Curly kissing the objective.

Well...all ideas are good. I think we should combine them?

That idea really cracked me up. Rhonda doesn't need to actually "audition" for a show. She's constantly taking herself seriously, so to have her parade poor Robert around in front of an imaginary audience as if she WAS hosting a show just seems like a really humorous idea.

I dunno, I guess I'm sort of against the idea of her actually getting on TV. I feel like we'll see enough of that sort of drama in Hillywood. =/
