What Obsesion?

Anywho, in almost every ep Helga always does an outburst of love!

In my mind if Helga doesn't outburst it she goes crazy (In "Helga On The Couch" after admiting ((over dramatically)) she feels better and more clam, so if she doesn't?) , then again if it goes out she has to hide it to the most extreme measure ("Helga's Parrot" and ect.)
Also she always makes an excuse when people catch her in her monologues.

So what if ther's been to many close calls? (and she runs out of excuses) (maybe the last ones she's telling are really lame.)
So at school, some of the class catches her in a brief moment (no they don't hear her say any love stuff, maybe when she's done they could ask her what she's doing, what is she hiding and why did she sigh all romantically?) Or the janitor catches her in the janitor closet XD
And maybe Arnold too
At home maybe Bob, Miriam, or Olga catch her too (like when she fell out of her closet with the Arnold mask, although they did forget about it)
And other places, like the park, and alley
and other people like Grandma or others

Well after soooooooo many close calls she feels that maybe she needs to keep it more secret.
So she tries droping her monologue numbers to only at her shrine.
But they catch her with her poems and Arnold thing in her book (still the kids have no idea what it is)
So. . . after many more close calls she decides to maybe only look at her locket or just run in and out of her closet (to see the shrine for a second)

After a while she decides to have a hobby to get her mind off of monologues, only for her to go even more crazy or it's something she hates so she goes crazy that way.

Pheobe worries about her so she tries talking to her (Helga just yabbers XD). Finally she gets through to her, and they talk about Ice Cream.
Something tells Helga that if she needs to let out her Ice Cream obsession then she has too.

So Helga goes back to monologuing about Arnold.

I see that it's all slopy and there are some things un-answered.

1. Why so many close calls?
Maybe the kids get curious of where Helga goes off too (like maybe before baseball games or how she always disapears behind something
Either that or it's a coinsidence XD
Her parents though, just to see what all the noise is about (in her closet)

2.What makes her go back to beign Helga?
Maybe in adream Ice Cream can tell her.
Or Pheobe tells her that if she needs to adore Ice Cream then she can, or maybe Dr.Bliss could step in and tell her what to do (?)

3.What is her new hobby?
I don't know

Notes:
Now that I look to it I think maybe to lay off her monologues. Or her day time Arnold love XD

Bottom line:
After so many close calls, Helga decides to lay of on her monologues, causing her to go crazy.

Another could be her having laryngitis and beinga unable to expresss her love vocaly.

Heh xD I like the first one more. I can kinda see her tearing apart inside... but it sounds like the whole thing would consist of her realizing how close she gets to getting figured out.

Maybe if we made this into something like a 30 minute episode, or if we tried to cut it down a tiny bit? I don't know xD But I do like this idea

Arnold : Helga?
Helga: WHAT!?!?!? Can't you see i'm in the middle of something important!!!
* insert some funny thing showing she's in something rediculouse *
Arnold: *stares for a while* A-are you okay Helga?
Helga: STOP BEING NICE TO ME FOOTBALL HEAD!!!
Arnold: I think you should calm down
Helga: I AM CALM!!!!! *storm off*
Arnold: o_O

So. . . First who catches her and why and where?

Maybe it should start off small, like with Helga just doing one of her soliloquies when a stranger interrupts her while she's hiding behind a trash can. Then it could lead up to her almost being caught by her entire class somehow.

So

*insert place/ setting*, *insert person*
Got it?

1. In an alley, by random stranger

2. behind the trashcan, by some of the boys in the class

3. at lunch, by the girls

4.in the janitor's closet, by the janitor

5. at home, by her family

6. she leaves home to hide again, by Arnold

So then she tries hiding it?

Well, we could start with Helga just watching Arnold be nice to others... and eventually it gets to the part where he's being nice to her, and she just snaps.

Maybe Miriam's in the kitches with Helga's poems and she's like "Helga! These are really good! Where did you get them?"
Helga: *0o0* A friend. . .
Miriam: Well tell your friend their really good and that they shouldn't be afraid to tell this Arnold character that they love them!
Helga: Sure! . . . I'll get right to that!

What makes her snap back to romantic Helga?

Ummm, not really sure where we are in discussion since I only really read the first page, but... I like the idea of an episode focusing on Helga trying to get a hobby besides obsessing over Arnold. I feel like that's something that there would have been an episode about in the show. And let's face it-- Helga needs a hobby. XD All her hobbies involve Arnold! XD

As for everyone catching her soliloquizing, that's a running gag! We don't want to ruin its status as recurring gag by overusing it or making it matter more than it does, do we?... I mean, it's just supposed to be funny when someone catches her. Like, the other person is definitely going to think, "Well, that was weird." But then the audience doesn't really give it a second thought. They just assume the other person forgot about it or doesn't care enough to make a big deal out of it. So if the audience and the people who catch her don't make a big deal out of it, why should Helga? Unless the person who catches her soliloquizing is someone she KNOWS won't forget about it (Olga, Phoebe, or, heaven forbid, GERALD).

Umm, I'm sorry if I sounded like a wet blanket there (do wet blankets even make sounds? That is the great rhetorical question of the century, I do declare). ^ ^;

well, it's what you said about her trying to get a hobby, I know it's going over board with the close calls but just a few, just enough for her to stop and think about something to distract her.

I think maybe just one or two close calls to make her realize, "Man, I really need a new hobby."

And she should try all of them! And some of them should be really weird things. Like...

-Playing with a metal detector and accidentally getting someone's filling-rife dentures.
-Building a model airplane, which she accidentally crashes into someone window. A cat noise is heard, and Helga winces and creeps away.
-Paddleball. Just paddleball.
-Playing marbles. By herself. XD

Yeah, to not give away much. Maybe one by a group of peers and another. . .
