I like the first and third one, the shape of Helga's eyes look good

The pencil coloring looks really cool. I always thought that the comics should be painted in cartoon style (i.e. black shapes filled with plain color), but maybe we could use such technique too. For dream sequences or something?

It think that this technique can be mixed with cartoon style. I looked through series and noticed that all background and details are made by pencils.

For me to work with pencils is easier than with pastels...

Yeah, we could use such pictures for comics. They are not as neat as in the cartoon, but they are perfectly fine for us, in fact they are stylish. The only thing I can complain about is, uh, could you draw on plain white paper please?

I read a discussion about the first episode and someone proposed that Helga will be concerned about the flash that Gk is a truly ghost. She will try to recrue Arnold (her great flat plan).
Thus it's the moment when Sid told her smth like "The Gk is ghost and we are going to prove it!". At first she laughs and then...Helga is in shock.

How did you do it? Through Photoshop?

Yeah. It's based on the blue channel of the original picture (on the blue channel the blue squares are invisible).

mmm....you suggested me curious idea. For me it's convenient to do sketches on the checked paper but I can remove pattern and it will be ok for the comic

Er, please don't do it. Blue squares are almost invisible. They can't be removed completely.

And about the outlines...they are originally considerable...
You've posted them in such a small size because you merely wanted to demostarate how it can look without patterns?

I made small pictures because on the large scale pictures the checked pattern still would be seen, and because it's a forum and I don't want to slow down its visitors with forcing them to download big pictures.
