"Hillywood" - STAFF WANTED

Plot Description: A famous director comes to Hillwood and turns the quiet Sunset Arms upside-down. Grandpa attempts to exact revenge, with hilarious results.

You might want to consult funnybones on that one.

According to the staff description, the advertiser's job is to promote an episode project. 'Hillywood' is still in its infancy, so the most useful method at the moment would be to scour the other HA! message boards on the Internet or promote the episode via Deviantart (if you have an account).

It's still a little too early to advertise the actual episode.

But, what you can do is advertise the positions open for this episode. Get the word out that the episode is in desperate need of artists. Feel free to talk to people outside of the HA6S forum...just don't be too spammy. We don't want to annoy people.

This idea sounds all too funny!

I've fallen in love with this episode. it sounds just like something Craig himself would write; It's the perfect neutral type of plot HA consisted of =D

Yeah, you have a point there. They don't necessarily have to be playing baseball, they can just be loitering around Sunset Arms, OR while they are playing at Gerald Field, they may spot a bunch of luxury cars in procession making their way to the boarding house - the important thing is that they see the director on his way to Sunset Arms.

I can safely say that can be accomplished by the end of this month.

You and I, and Retromanka, are the tentative script-writers for Hillywood. Should we collaborate, or should we each make our own versions combine the best ideas to form a script?

Yes.

Arnold and the gang are playing baseball at Gerald Field when they spot a motorcade of vehicles making their way down the street. They follow the cars, which stop in front of Sunset Arms. Out of one of the cars exits Gilbert C. Ratta, who some of the kids recognize as a popular director. Gilbert asks Arnold to let him inside the boarding house, as he wants to speak to the landlord (Grandpa). While inside, Gilbert reminsces and meets the boarders until he encounters Grandpa. He explains that he wants to make a horror movie at Sunset Arms, but Grandpa flat out refuses and threatens to kick Gil out until he's persuaded otherwise by the boarders. Gil promises to return tomorrow, and when he leaves Grandpa explains to Arnold why he dislikes Gilbert, and that he was the reason for the "No Kids" sign. Arnold insists that Grandpa get along with Gilbert, as he'll be practically living at Sunset Arms during filming, and that gives Grandpa an idea.

The next day, Grandpa slaps Gilbert with a lease agreement that he must sign if he is to grant permission to make the movie. Gilbert naively accepts, unaware that as a tenant legally bound to the laws of Sunset Arms, Gilbert must obey the landlord (i.e. Grandpa) and subject to his every whim and fancy. Thus hilarity ensues....

How's that?
