Holiday Party

I was thinking that we should have a HA6S staff Christmas party or holiday party or whatever you want to call it lol.

We could try to agree on a day (probably a weekend) sometime within the next few weeks to get the staff together to chat. Maybe we could even all watch Arnold's Christmas together.

I know things have been kind of dead around here lately and honestly, I haven't talked to some users here for months; but I think it would be fun to reconnect a little bit (even if just for one evening). Besides, I love this time of year

by the way, I called it a staff party...but anyone can come. No one should be excluded if they like Hey Arnold!

Sounds pretty cool. How about a group chat on Skype?

There are a few ways we could do it. I think it would be better to do an instant messaging style chat rather than voice or video (does Skype have IM?)

We could even use the chatbox here on the forum.

So what date are we thinking of?

I would say the 11th or the 18th would be best. They're both the only 2 Saturdays before Christmas and everyone seems to be able to make it on a Saturday.

Let's plan for this Saturday (the 11th), and if that conflicts too much with everyone's schedule we'll still have time to change it.

In past chats I've been in, I think the time was 5:00 pm Pacific time (8:00 pm Eastern time). Does that work for everyone here?

Not really. It would be 1am in the morning here in jolly old England.

It's okay, Pie. I think everyone missed yesterday's chat. I completely forgot about it lol.

So, let's plan for the real chat to be held on Saturday, Dec. 18. We can do two chat times to make it convenient for fans in Europe as well as North America.

So, I was thinking the first chat could be at 5:00 pm London time; which is 9:00 am Pacific time and 12:00 pm Eastern time in the U.S.

The second chat could be at 5:00 pm Pacific time and 8:00 pm Eastern time (1:00 am London time)

No matter where you live, show up for whichever chat best fits your schedule...or even both chats if you want. If you need help, here's a good time zone converter
(Pick a west coast city for Pacific time, or an east coast city for Eastern time.)

Let me know if these times work. I can make another announcement on live journal once we get the time issue straightened out.
