Pulling HA6S Out of Hiatus - Advertising

Hi all,

Advertising for the "re-opening" of the HA6S project has been done through:

- Global PM to all existing staff members on the forum
- The HA! wikia page for the HA6S project has been updated to say that we are trying to pull out of hiatus, also with our new website on weebly.

I'm hoping to get a message on our Ha6S facebook group done as well, as soon as I find the password and login account LOL Oh boy.

If you can think of any other locations that we should post to, or that you have posted yourself, that would be great! It will help us figure out where we need to post more.

HUGE thanks to Mia Pataki, who has so graciously created a banner to advertise us coming out of hiatus! I am absolutely coloured to bits and pieces by her artwork, and the amount of advertising she has done for us.

Hey, I have an idea for advertising. We could organize a weekly/monthly meetup on IScribble in a HA! room, and tell people coming in to draw about the project.

Oh, we also need some DA stamps for advertising and a DA group.

Hey Mutty, those are some very good ideas! We actually do have a DA group that exists: http://ha6s.deviantart.com/. I also most recently made a HA6S group as well earlier today: http://ha6sproject.deviantart.com/

Unfortunately, I'm not that skilled when it comes through navigating through deviantart. I'm not too sure if people prefer following users over groups, etc. If there is someone who is skilled w/ deviantart, and is interested in helping with advertising, I can provide them with the DA log-in info. The same could apply with iScribble.

Are you aware that the DA group you made doesn't allow people to join? I just tried to and can't. I've never made a group, but I'm sure I can figure it out if you don't mind. I'm certainly active enough on DA since I get on multiple times a day.
As for iScribble, in case you're unfamiliar with it, it is a site where you can open a room and others can come in and draw with you using the in-board tools. It's not nearly the same thing as DA, as public rooms are removed after being empty for an amount of time and would have to be remade each time.

Now it just says "Sorry, this group is no longer accepting new administrators." And there aren't multiple groups to choose from, which there probably should be. (IE; Admin, Co-admin, Moderator, Member, etc.)

I just applied to the group. Seems fine now.
I posted on FB about the project. Need to go on Twitter to do the same. When I have the time I'll do a google search to look for any other Hey arnold community that might be out there and see if we can touch base.

Alright, so I posted information and links to our project on the HA! save the jungle page, then realized; we have a page, it's just been abandon for three years. Who made the page, are they still here, and would it be possible to bring the page back to life? Facebook is a great place to advertise the project, so it seems really important to have a site for it. Otherwise, I may make a new page.

Oh, and I linked to the DA group as well, so I'll really need to get those mod permissions soon so I can spruce it up and work on running it.

We do have a FB page, and I've been digging around for the account username and password. I assume that I'll be emailing you it when I get it?

Update: I've found the HA6S FB account details and posted on there that we're out of hiatus. If anyone would like to be assigned as an advertiser (moderator, essentially) of that group, just let me know and I can email you the account details.

Do we have a tumblr? Wouldn't mind making one if we don't.

We do not have tumblr yet! I have one person who just emailed me who is interested in an advertising role. I may get her to be in charge of tumblr. If you would like, I can make a tumblr account and email you the log-in details. You would just be sharing that account with another staff member. Her forum name is doeyes.

A tumblr's a good idea. I already have all my art on my tumblr. Tell her to retumble mine if she can.

Ah, that's great! I'm sure Doe will have more time to manage it than I would. I just wanted to try my hands in a theme/skin or however they call it on tumblr. I love doing that kind of thing. But hey, if she's got it, then awesome! =3
