JerRocks' story ideas...
-The first one involves Arnold aspiring to become a superhero to know what it's like to help the innocent and have great responsibilities, after a lecture in class on stories and heroes. Helga hears about his ambitions and secretly yearns to follow in his footsteps and become a superhero too to try to prove her love for him. Thus, Arnold becomes 'Kid Wonder' and Helga becomes 'Mist Mistress. And when they eventually cross paths, they fall in love with each other with Arnold not knowing who Mist Mistress is. As this is going on, a rival company is trying to acquire the assets of Big Bob's Beeper business and eventually, Kid Wonder and Mist Mistress find themselves on the case.
--Kid Wonder is sort of a homage to Robin; while Mist Mistress is sort of a homage to Will Eisner's the Spirit, and Darkwing Duck, and other pulp heroes.
-The 2nd one is sort done in the style of my favorite comic series-- the Walking Dead (which spun off the TV Show on AMC). Arnold has to write a paper about what he would do in a zombie apocolypse, but then falls asleep...and wakes up to a zombie apocolypse. He finds out that most of his friends are gone, but runs into Helga, in which they both find out where the survivors are-- composed of Rhonda, Wolfgang, Torvault, Gerald, a blind Eugene, Sid, Ernie, Lila, etc. After they recap, they find out that a recruit helicopter is going to do an emergency landing for any survivors but it's going to be in a high building because of the number of zombies that manifested the ground. Think of it as a race to the safety deal they're going through. But as they reach the top, the survivors keep dying, until Arnold and Helga remain. But when they reach the top, the chopper leaves them, and the zombies nearly reach them. Realizing it could be their last moment together, Helga tries to reveal Arnold of her feelings for him--until Arnold realizes that this whole scenario could be a very bad dream. Thus, Arnold and Helga decides to jump off the building to see if they wake up-- and Arnold wakes up, realizes what he went through, but decides to write a paper about it at the last minute.
-This next one is sort of in the style of the Freaky Friday plot. There's not too much details in this yet, but Arnold and Helga basically switch places as a result of some magical stone that was presented by an archaeologist. Eventually, the stone finds its way to Harold and Rhonda, and they switch places too. Thus, the four have to figure out how to switch back or they'll end up this way forever.
Just a few ideas to boot. What do you think?

Re: JerRocks' story ideas...
Hey Jer! Glad to see you hopping already on the General Discussion!
I would say the second one would be my favourite. I especially like how the Zombie theme is in a dream setting; a very interesting idea for a Halloween themed episode indeed! (Same with the superhero idea as well!) I guess one feedback I could give is to challenge you to be creative - since Hey Arnold! is a children's cartoon, how would you want to portray the zombies in a way that is spooky (if that is your intended effect), but not exactly frightening to death for kids? For example, would the zombies be more mysteriously hidden in some way (e.g. shadows, noises, etc.), or would there be some comedic scenes with the zombies? There's definitely lots of considerations you could make in how you would want to make your comic script, in terms of camera angle, lighting, etc.
In regards to the first idea, I find it quite cute. I already think of Arnold as a local neighbourhood superhero, so to see him trying to be some actual superhero is an interesting idea. I could definitely see some side stories (e.g. with Stinky, Harold, Sid, as they are a funny trio) or cameos/homages to other superheroes (e.g. Gerald/Phoebe dressing up as a couple superhero) for this idea . If that idea interest you, you could also make it so that kids are dressing up as superheroes for a class project or something.

Re: JerRocks' story ideas...
When school is finished up and when I finish a Gideon comic for my OT class, I'm going to try coming up with Hey-Arnold style zombie drawings for the 2nd story. Believe it or not, WD actually inspired my drawing style to what I'm working with now. So drawing zombies should be a snap.
As for the 1st idea, I had a few other ideas for the episode's tone of how it would end, but I did previously consider the other side characters finding superhero identities. I'll be happy to reconsider.
